As the year wraps up, the film industry has got a lot of movies to usher us into the new year. Some are Christmas themed movies, others, pay no heed to the season, a few use the season as a subplot of their movies.
We will be checking out a few of those movies that will be available to watch on some streaming platforms, others in the cinemas and theatres.
December 6- Mary (Netflix)
In accordance with the season, Mary explored the story surrounding the life of the mother of the saviour ,Jesus Christ. Written by Timothy Michael Hayes, the D.J Caruso directed -movie is expected to be released on Netflix by December 6.

December 13- Carry On(Netflix)
Seeing the trailer sparked my excitement for December 13. Taron Egerton from The King’s Man franchise as the main cast of this movie is an exciting factor on its own. From the trailer, it is an action gripping movie that has you on the edge of your seat.
Jason Bateman from Ozarks plays the role of an erie agent who blackmails Taron Egerton ( TSA agent) to place a dangerous package on a plane. After discovering this plot, Taron has just ten minutes to save the life of everyone in the airport.
Will this movie be as good as Leave the World Behind? Remember the thriller that Netflix used to wrap up 2023? I hope this is just as good as it is.
December 20- Mufasa Lion King (theatres)
