The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued an urgent public alert, cautioning Nigerians against falling victim to a wave of fraudulent online platforms falsely claiming to offer official party membership registration.
In a strongly worded statement released on Sunday and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC made it clear that no official online membership registration link, website, or platform is currently in operation.

The party revealed that several deceptive links, websites, and social media accounts are actively circulating, misleadingly presenting themselves as legitimate ADC registration channels.
The ADC urged the general public, party members, and supporters to completely disregard all such links.
According to the statement, the party is currently developing a secure and official registration and verification platform, which will be formally launched and announced only through verified ADC communication channels when ready.
The ADC further assured Nigerians that it would never solicit payments or request sensitive personal information such as names, phone numbers, Permanent Voter Card (PVC) details, Bank Verification Numbers (BVN), or banking credentials through unofficial links, WhatsApp messages, direct messages, or third-party websites.
The party advised the public to exercise vigilance by avoiding suspicious or unverified links, refusing to share unconfirmed registration messages, and never submitting personal details to unverified sources.

Any suspicious activity should be reported directly to the party via its official communication channels.
The party emphasised that all genuine announcements, including the eventual rollout of the membership registration platform, will come exclusively from verified party platforms and formal statements issued by its leadership.
The party reaffirmed its determination to tackle the issue decisively and to safeguard both the public and its integrity.
