President Bola Tinubu arrived back in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Monday, concluding an extensive ten-day visit to Lagos State.
The return was confirmed by a statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga
The presidential visit began after Tinubu attended the coronation ceremony of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, in Ibadan on the preceding Friday.

During his stay in the nation’s commercial hub, the President held meetings with prominent business leaders.
He engaged with major investors, including Bayo Ogunlesi, CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners, and Keem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Metis Capital Partners and former head of UBA and Etisalat.
Tinubu also hosted the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Arsenio Dominguez, who was accompanied by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.
In their discussion, the President reiterated his administration’s dedication to developing Nigeria’s maritime sector as a crucial alternative to dependence on fossil fuels.
In the days leading up to Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary, the President travelled to Imo State to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
He also launched a book written by the governor that chronicles a decade of All Progressives Congress (APC) governance in the country.
On Independence Day, Tinubu delivered his national broadcast from the State House, Dodan Barracks.
He subsequently commissioned the refurbished National Theatre, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
At the event, he appealed to citizens to maintain a positive outlook on the nation.

Before returning to Abuja, the President made a trip to Jos, Plateau State, on Saturday, October 4, to attend the funeral service for Mama Lydia Yilwatda, the mother of the APC chairman, Nantawe Yilwatda.
While there, Tinubu honoured Mama Yilwatda and pledged his administration’s firm commitment to ensuring justice and equality for all religious groups, particularly Christian communities in Northern Nigeria.
