Isaac Fayose, younger brother to former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, has clarified that he does not wish the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, dead, despite recent rumours.
Isaac made the statement in a video posted on his Facebook page, where he assured Wike of his prayers and support for the good work he is doing in Abuja.
Recently, reports circulated that Wike had suffered a heart attack while in a hospital in London. The Minister dismissed these claims, warning that he would personally address anyone wishing him dead.

Isaac explained that his inquiries about Wike’s health were borne out of concern, not ill-will. “I don’t wish Wike dead, why would I? Someone working in Abuja? I want him to finish the good work he has started,” he said. “I’m one of the people praying for Wike and I wish him good health.”
He further commented on the broader public sentiment toward the Minister, saying that criticism reflects the people’s feelings but reaffirmed his personal support for Wike.
Isaac also condemned activist politician Omoyele Sowore for referring to President Bola Tinubu as a criminal. He praised Tinubu’s administration for its tolerance and adherence to the rule of law.
“President Tinubu is very tolerant; the rule of law under Tinubu is 100 percent. He doesn’t bully anybody. Can you call Obasanjo a criminal when he was president?” Isaac questioned.
