Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday held talks with the President of Hyundai Motors Middle East and Africa, Mr Tarek Mosaad, as the state government intensified efforts to attract strategic investments and expand industrial partnerships.
The meeting took place at Lagos House, Marina, during a courtesy visit by the Hyundai executive.
According to the governor, the discussions centred on collaboration opportunities, investment prospects, and potential partnerships tied to the state’s economic development agenda under the Invest Lagos 3.0 initiative.

Sanwo-Olu said the engagement formed part of broader efforts to strengthen Lagos’s position as a leading commercial and innovation hub on the African continent.
The governor said, “We had a discussion around collaboration, investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the vision behind Invest Lagos 3.0.”
He added that the state government remained focused on creating an enabling environment capable of attracting global businesses and expanding private sector participation across major sectors of the economy.
Although details of specific investment commitments were not disclosed, the meeting signals growing engagement between Lagos and multinational firms seeking opportunities within Nigeria’s economic capital.
