Former Big Brother Naija winner Whitemoney has appealed to aspiring contestants to stop sending him messages requesting assistance to secure entry into the reality show.
The reality TV star appealed in a video broadcast while reacting to the increasing number of messages he has reportedly received ahead of the eleventh edition of the popular reality television programme.

According to Whitemoney, many individuals have been flooding his direct messages in hopes of influencing his decision on their admission to the Big Brother house.
Expressing frustration over the situation, the former housemate stressed that he has no authority or special influence over the selection process.
“My DM is filled up with messages from people asking me to influence their entries into BBNaija. Please, I do not have the power to put you into Big Brother house,” he said.
Whitemoney noted that the requests have become more intense this year compared to previous seasons.
“Every year when the programme is approaching, I keep getting messages. This year’s own is too much,” he added.
The reality star acknowledged that the current economic situation in Nigeria has pushed many young people to seek opportunities for fame and financial breakthrough through platforms like BBNaija.
“I understand that the economy is hard and everyone wants to be famous by going to the Big Brother show,” he said.
However, he urged aspiring contestants to focus on the official audition process instead of trying to bypass it through connections or shortcuts.
“But please, go and audition. Follow the due process,” he advised.
Whitemoney also used his personal experience to encourage hopeful applicants not to give up if they are rejected during the audition process.
According to him, persistence played a major role in his own journey to becoming a housemate and eventual winner of the show.
“I auditioned four times before I was picked. Keep auditioning even if they reject you,” he revealed.
He further warned intending contestants against scammers who claim they can guarantee admission into the show in exchange for money.
“And don’t fall victim of scam by giving anyone money to give a BBNaija slot. Be wise about it,” he cautioned.
Whitemoney rose to prominence after emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye season, becoming one of the show’s most popular housemates due to his personality, cooking skills, and relationship with fellow contestants.
Since winning the show, he has built a career in entertainment, music, influencing, and brand endorsements.
His comments come as anticipation continues to build for the next edition of BBNaija, which remains one of Africa’s biggest reality television franchises.
Every year, thousands of Nigerians audition for a chance to enter the Big Brother house, hoping the platform will launch them into fame and financial success.
Over the years, the show has produced several successful celebrities and influencers, making it highly competitive and attracting massive public attention.
Whitemoney’s warning about scams also reflects a recurring issue surrounding the reality show, as fraudsters often exploit eager applicants with false promises of guaranteed slots or insider connections.
Fans online have since reacted to his message, with many praising him for being honest and encouraging people to trust the official process rather than seeking shortcuts.
