Galatasaray has secured the Turkish Super Lig title after fighting back to defeat Antalyaspor on Saturday night, with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen delivering another match-winning performance.
The encounter began at a high tempo as Antalyaspor showed early determination against the league leaders. Their pressure paid off just before half-time when Soner Dikmen found the back of the net in the 45th minute, silencing the home supporters and giving the visitors a crucial advantage heading into the break.
However, Galatasaray returned for the second half with renewed energy and urgency. The home side pushed forward in search of an equaliser, and their efforts were rewarded in the 56th minute when Mario Lemina scored to restore hope and momentum for the champions-elect.
Despite Galatasaray’s response, Antalyaspor refused to back down and regained the lead six minutes later through a brilliant free-kick goal that stunned the home crowd and increased tension inside the stadium.
Nevertheless, Galatasaray once again found inspiration through Osimhen. The Nigerian striker stepped up when his team needed him most, scoring the equaliser in the 66th minute before adding another goal shortly after to complete a superb brace and turn the match around.
Osimhen’s clinical finishing lifted the atmosphere inside the stadium as Galatasaray moved closer to sealing the title. Then, deep into stoppage time, Kaan Ayhan added a late goal in the 95th minute to seal an important victory and confirm the championship in emphatic style.
With the win, Galatasaray claimed their fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title and extended their dominance in Turkish football with a record 26th league crown.

The Istanbul giants are now four points ahead of arch-rivals Fenerbahçe S.K. with one game left to play this season. Fenerbahce, who suffered a 3-0 derby defeat to Galatasaray last month, reacted by dismissing both their coach and sporting director as frustration continued over their 12-year title drought.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has enjoyed an outstanding debut season in Turkey and remains one of the club’s most influential players. The Nigerian international has scored 31 goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign, playing a key role in Galatasaray’s successful title run.
