Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has said she will no longer exchange greetings with colleague Funke Akindele following an awkward moment between both actresses at a public event.

“Aunty Funke, good evening ma,” Toyin was heard saying.
However, Funke allegedly did not respond. In the viral clip, she appeared to look away despite Toyin tapping her and mentioning her name.
Furthermore, the incident appeared to leave Toyin embarrassed, as she subsequently walked away from the scene.
The video quickly generated reactions on social media, with many users criticising Funke’s behaviour and describing it as dismissive. Others, however, urged caution, suggesting that the interaction may have been misunderstood.
Reacting under an Instagram post about the incident, Toyin revealed that she had unfollowed Funke on social media. She also stated that she had no intention of greeting her again.
“I have unfollowed her,” she wrote in a now-deleted comment. “God forbid bad things. If I ever greet her again…”
Meanwhile, the incident has sparked renewed discussion about the relationship between the two actresses, both of whom are among the biggest names in Nollywood. Neither Funke Akindele nor her representatives has publicly commented on the matter.
