The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction-designate, Dr Bernard Doro, has arrived the National Assembly for screening by the federal lawmakers.
It would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu nominated Doro to replace former minister Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, who was recently appointed the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Doro, who hails from Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, was born on January 23, 1969.
In a press statement by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s media aide, he has over 20 years experience in clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership, and community engagement in the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
In an exclusive interview with the New Daily Prime on Thursday before his screening, he shared his excitement towards a successful clearance by the Senate.
The Minister-designate said he is “full of excitement and looking forward to a smooth senate clearance and so that we can begin the work for our people. Everything we do is about our people, everything we do is about humanity and that is our desire.”
He expressed desire to serve the people, adding that “our lives is lived for the people.”
