The Ondo State Police Command has announced the apprehension of two alleged child traffickers, Mr. Lukman Isiaka and Abosede Olanipekun, for stealing and selling an 18-month-old boy.
This information shared via their X page on Saturday stated that the mother of the minor left her child in the custody of Mr. Isiaka’s sister, Olanipekun, fondly called Bose.
In addition, Olanipekun left with the baby, disguising himself to buy biscuits, while Mr. Isiaka, who proposed a relationship earlier to the baby’s mother, lured her into Olukayode Plaza, a phone shop, pretending to purchase a phone for her.
According to the disclosure, Mr. Isiaka abandoned the mother of the 18-month-old boy in the plaza, whose name cannot be certain.

“Some parents have been able to identify their children, while some are yet to see theirs; effort is on to ensure other kids are found.”
