The Kwara State Government has reappointed Abdul Jimoh Muhammed as the Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic for a second term.
This announcement was made by the State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Mary Arinde, in her office on Monday.
She urged heads of tertiary institutions to focus on enhanced service delivery, aligning with the administration’s significant investments in the state’s higher education sector.
Arinde highlighted that Muhammed’s reappointment reflects his unwavering dedication, commitment, and numerous accomplishments, which have elevated Kwara State Polytechnic to a notable standing.
While congratulating the Rector, she encouraged him to leverage his extensive experience to guide the institution forward.

The Commissioner also reminded Muhammed to uphold the trust placed in him, emphasising that the Kwara State Government, under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, remains committed to elevating the quality of tertiary education across the state.
