Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has experienced an inconsistent run of form. In the 2025/26 Premier League season, he has made 28 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
In addition, he has featured seven times in the UEFA Champions League, contributing two goals and one assist. He has also made limited appearances in the EFL Cup, where he has registered at least one goal and one assist.
However, Foden has struggled to maintain consistency in recent months, as he has not scored for City since December 14, 2025. As a result, he has moved in and out of the starting lineup, with competition for places intensifying in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Nevertheless, Foden’s overall contribution to Manchester City remains significant. Since breaking into the first team, he has made over 300 appearances for the club, while also winning six Premier League titles, one Champions League trophy, and two FA Cups.
