Paul Enenche, born on June 4, 1968, is a Nigerian preacher, medical doctor, author, and televangelist whose journey from medicine to ministry has shaped one of the country’s fastest-growing churches.
He is the founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, a global ministry headquartered in Abuja, with hundreds of thousands of worshippers worldwide.
A native of Otukpo in Benue State and of Idoma heritage, Paul Enenche was trained as a medical doctor alongside his wife, whom he married on April 16, 1994. In 1996, while based in Jos, he faced a defining moment. Despite lucrative offers to advance his medical career abroad including opportunities linked to the University of London and Hammersmith Hospital he experienced what he described as a deep spiritual restlessness.
On May 28, 1996, Paul Enenche retreated to a mountainous area on the outskirts of Jos for a three-day fast and prayer. According to accounts, that encounter marked a turning point, giving him clarity on his life’s mission and leading to the birth of his ministry.
Today, Dunamis International Gospel Centre operates in over twenty states across Nigeria and has expanded internationally to countries such as the United Kingdom and Liberia. The ministry is widely known for its emphasis on the teaching of the Word, as well as reports of miracles, signs, and what followers describe as a tangible spiritual presence.
Beyond the pulpit, Paul Enenche is regarded as a voice of influence, offering counsel to leaders at federal, state, and grassroots levels. His work continues to intersect faith, leadership, and national development, positioning him as a prominent figure in Nigeria’s religious landscape.
