The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly refuted circulating reports claiming to reveal the prices of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections, describing them as entirely false and misleading.
In a press statement issued today, the party categorically dismissed the purported “price list” as fake news that did not originate from any official APC source.
The National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, emphasised that no decision whatsoever has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the upcoming elections.

“The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read. It stressed that the APC has made no announcement on the matter and warned against any premature speculation.
The party urged its members, the media, and the general public to completely disregard the misleading report and avoid being misled by unfounded claims.
It called for vigilance against such fabricated stories, which it suggested were designed to cause confusion within the party and among Nigerians ahead of the 2027 polls.
This development comes amid growing political manoeuvring as parties begin to position themselves for the next general elections.
Analysts note that nomination form prices have historically been a subject of intense debate within major parties, often reflecting internal dynamics and financial strategies.
However, the APC has made it clear that any official information on forms will be communicated through authorised channels at the appropriate time.

The statement serves as a timely reminder of the need for responsible journalism and fact-checking in the build-up to the 2027 elections.
With over a year remaining before the polls, political parties are expected to intensify their preparations, but the APC has reiterated its commitment to transparency in all processes.
Party stakeholders have been advised to rely solely on official communications from the APC National Working Committee to avoid falling victim to disinformation campaigns.
