Popular Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has publicly declared his support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party has been beneficial to him.

Speaking at the event, Cubana Chief Priest said, “APC is taking care of me,” a remark that quickly drew attention and reactions across social media.
Furthermore, he identified himself as a member of the “City Boy Movement,” a political initiative championed by Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu. The movement aims to mobilise young Nigerians in support of the president’s policies and political agenda.
According to reports, the initiative has been gaining momentum, attracting the involvement of influential figures, including businessman Obi Cubana. Supporters of the movement say it seeks to strengthen grassroots backing for the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
In addition, Cubana Chief Priest’s role within the movement has expanded. He was recently appointed as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a position that reflects his growing presence in Nigeria’s political space.
During his remarks, he also issued a strong message to critics and undecided observers. He suggested that the movement’s success was inevitable and encouraged others to align with it.
“It’s either you win with us or you watch us win,” he said, referencing President Tinubu’s potential re-election bid in 2027.
Moreover, his comments underscored the increasing intersection between entertainment, social influence, and politics in Nigeria. Public figures with large followings continue to play visible roles in shaping political narratives and mobilising support.
As reactions continue to trail his statement, observers note that such endorsements could influence public opinion, especially among younger demographics.
Overall, Cubana Chief Priest’s declaration highlighted the growing involvement of high-profile personalities in political movements, as the APC continues to consolidate support ahead of future elections.
