Nigerian singer Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike, has accused a social media user, Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, of allegedly defrauding him in a failed business deal.
The singer made the allegation in a series of posts shared on X on Monday morning.

According to Chike, he gave Ochibili $20,000 for a business arrangement that she allegedly failed to fulfil. He claimed that he later discovered he might have been one of several people who had fallen victim to the same scheme.
“Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, so you are a thief? That’s how they do. They will tell you they are doing certain business. Her business is to survive on your money,” the singer wrote.
He further claimed that a larger amount may be involved in the alleged scheme.
“$50,000 in the air. $20,000 of my hard earned money I didn’t see either. How do I find out this late that I’m just another person she has duped. Even me I de laugh myself,” he added.
Chike also warned his followers to avoid doing business with the woman, describing her as an alleged fraudster.
When questioned by social media users about the specifics of the business deal, the singer declined to provide details, saying the focus should remain on the alleged fraud rather than the type of business involved.
“Whatever business Chioma sells to you is not the issue. The big issue here is that the business does not even exist, which then equates to fraud,” he wrote.
The singer also disclosed that he has initiated steps to recover the funds he claimed to have lost in the transaction.
As of the time of filing this report, Chioma Nneoma Ochibili had not publicly responded to the allegations made against her.
