The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passionately reaffirmed its support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia in 2027.
The pledge was made by APC State Chairman, Chief Benjamin Omale, during a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass organised by the Tiavnyam Development Foundation (TDF) at St. Veronica’s Parish, Agidi, Akpagher-Mbatiav, on 20 October 2025.
The event celebrated governor Alia’s remarkable achievements over the past two years, reflecting the hopes and pride of Benue’s people.
Chief Omale praised the TDF for honouring Governor Alia with an excellence award, a gesture he described as a testament to the governor’s dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy.
“This award shows the people of Benue are happy with Governor Alia’s leadership,” Omale said, his words resonating with community members who see Alia as a beacon of progress.
“It’s clear he enjoys massive love and support across the state,” he added, capturing the shared optimism of residents.
Expressing gratitude to the TDF, Omale urged continued support for Alia’s administration and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he believes are transforming lives.
“The APC stands firmly behind any group or community that aligns with Governor Alia’s vision,” he declared, emphasising unity in the pursuit of progress.
The chairman’s promise to back Alia and Tinubu’s re-election campaigns struck a chord with attendees, who view both leaders as champions of development.
Omale assured the people of Benue that the APC remains committed to delivering infrastructure, security, and welfare, addressing the daily struggles of citizens.
“We’re not done yet,” he said, rallying support for Alia’s re-election with a reminder that “it’s not over until it’s over.”
The event underscored a collective resolve to sustain Benue’s growth and democratic gains.
