The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), in collaboration with the Repatriation and Departure Service (DT&V) of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, Netherlands, has concluded a five-day Hostmanship training and certification exercise for over 176 of its officers.
The initiative, which involved selected personnel from Batches 6 and 7 cohorts drawn from various State Commands and Special Formations across the country, was specifically designed to enhance “hospitality, respect, and human dignity” in the Service’s delivery to the public.
A key element of the partnership saw ten outstanding officers chosen by the Dutch team to undergo further rigorous training and evaluation in the Netherlands.
