Popular Nigerian socialite and nightclub promoter, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred fresh controversy on social media amid an ongoing paternity dispute with a Kenyan woman, Hellen Ati.
In a recent Instagram post, the celebrity barman shared a video clip of himself enjoying a vacation in France.
The video, intended to be humorous, was captioned with the phrase, “PASKAL!!! You Will Suffer”, a line that has become synonymous with Hellen Ati’s public outbursts against him.
The tension between both parties began after Ati accused the nightlife entrepreneur of fathering her now two-year-old son.
According to Ati, the child was conceived following a brief romantic encounter with Chief Priest in April 2022.
Since then, Ati has repeatedly taken to social media to demand a DNA test. She claims the child deserves recognition and support from his alleged father.
However, Chief Priest has not publicly responded to her requests for paternity verification. Instead, he has filed a defamation lawsuit against her in a Kenyan court.
In the suit, Chief Priest seeks a court order restraining Ati from making further statements about him online. His legal team insists that her claims are false, malicious, and based solely on selective social media narratives without any credible evidence.
The latest video posted by Chief Priest has amused many of his fans and followers. While some found the post hilarious, others expressed concern for the child at the centre of the dispute.
The comments section of the video has since become a hotbed of reactions, with fans and critics weighing in on the situation.
Instagram user @wf_lamar wrote, “I read it in her voice,” while @dr_dalu added, “Helen think say life na Nollywood.” Another user, @donsurplusenterprise, joked, “Na this kain suffer I want o.”
However, not all responses were in jest. User @ejuraobike commented, “Kai, this little boy did not beg to come to this world. Hmmmm,”
User @crossberry8 criticised the situation, saying, “Pity people that get pregnant for a man that doesn’t even like them in the first place.”
Another follower, @Vivianvictor296, demanded action, writing, “Pascal, you must do DNA.”
Others joined in the mockery. @ifypeterofficial said, “Paskal, you be agbaya.”
