To drive development in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has vowed to use the 2025 budget to improve various infrastructure across the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa said his administration will meticulously capture the developmental needs of every part of the state.
This development was made known through the state government’s social media page on Tuesday during the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko North West Local Government Area (LGA).
At the rally, Aiyedatiwa said, “The 2025 budget will be well-structured to ensure that no part of Ondo State is left behind. We are already making progress across various sectors, but development is a process, and we must take it step by step. Infrastructure and other essential services will reach your region soon.”
He further thanked the monarchs of the area for their unwavering support and renewed endorsement towards the gubernatorial election scheduled to hold on November 16.
Owa of Ogbagi, Oba Olasehinde Ojo Adetona, speaking on behalf of the 27 traditional rulers in the area, said, “In Akoko North West, there is no opposition against your candidacy; we will deliver our votes because we trust your leadership and know you will continue performing excellently.”
The member of the House of Representatives for Akoko North East/Akoko North West federal constituency, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, also pledged his support for the governor.
Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted the importance of unity towards achieving their goals and objectives, noting that his priority is to uplift the state and improve the quality of life for all residents.
While reaffirming his commitment as he reflected on the future plans, he said, “I came through every key area not by accident but intentionally, so I can see things for myself and listen to your challenges directly. This way, I can respond promptly and ensure that no issue affecting your communities is overlooked.”
He mentioned security, infrastructural development, and agricultural growth as significant areas to work on.
