The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said that Nigeria’s military is underfunded, as it reported that only about 7 percent of the Nigerian Army’s 2025 budget for security equipment has been released across the country. The ADC made this known on Tuesday in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, noting that out of N336.76 billion approved for security equipment, only N16.71 billion had been released so far.
