Prominent Nigerians have paid glowing tributes to Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he marked his 40th birthday on Sunday, with messages hailing his entrepreneurial spirit, philanthropy, and quiet impact on youth and community development across the country.
President Tinubu led the tributes with a heartfelt personal message addressed to his son, reflecting on Seyi’s growth, values, and contributions to society. The President described Seyi as “focused, courageous, and humble,” and praised his dedication to building and serving others.
“You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility, and you have done so with a heart that seeks to build, serve, and uplift others,” President Tinubu wrote.
“From an early age, you have shown determination and a desire to create and lead. I have watched you turn ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities… Forty is a special age. It bridges youthful drive and the more profound wisdom that life brings.”
The President also acknowledged his son’s philanthropic efforts through the Noella Foundation, which has supported initiatives in education, social development, youth empowerment, and maternal and child welfare.
“Your commitment to philanthropy reflects the values I hold dear,” he said, commending Seyi’s impact through service.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State also joined in the celebration, describing Seyi as “an industrious and compassionate Nigerian” who has inspired many, particularly the youth.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu noted:
