Recently evicted Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 housemate Ivatar has alleged that fellow housemate Mensan touched her inappropriately during their time in the Big Brother house.
Speaking in a candid interview with former reality TV star and media personality Doyin David, Ivatar detailed the incident, claiming that what began as a consensual cuddle turned into a violation of her boundaries.
According to Ivatar, Mensan had asked to join her in bed to cuddle, a gesture she initially agreed to.
However, she alleged that the situation took an uncomfortable turn when Mensan began touching her breasts without her consent.
“I put his hand on my stomach while we were in the bed because he asked to come and cuddle,” Ivatar explained. “But when he tried to put his hand on my breasts, I moved it down. When he did it again, I kicked him out of my bed.”
The reality star said she tried to handle the situation calmly, removing his hand multiple times before eventually asking him to leave. “Mensan was doing a lot which some people didn’t see. And all I’ve been saying is that I have some boundaries which I wanted him to respect while our friendship journey continued, and he couldn’t do that,” she said.

Ivatar added that there were earlier instances where Mensan crossed the line, including one occasion where he allegedly touched her backside in full view of other housemates.
“Even when he touched my backside in front of everybody, I would have shouted and made a scene, but I decided to have a private conversation with him about it,” she revealed.
Her comments have reignited conversations around consent and personal boundaries in the Big Brother Naija house, a space where contestants live together under 24/7 surveillance, and personal interactions are closely watched by millions of viewers.
Social media reactions to Ivatar’s interview have been mixed. Some viewers praised her for speaking out and sharing her experience despite knowing it might spark controversy. Others questioned why she waited until after her eviction to publicly address the matter.
Fans of the show have called on Big Brother organisers to take allegations of inappropriate behaviour more seriously, arguing that clear consequences should be in place for housemates who violate others’ boundaries.
Ivatar stressed that her decision to speak out was not an attempt to smear Mensan’s character but to shed light on an issue that made her uncomfortable.
“I just wanted him to respect my boundaries,” she said, adding that her actions were meant to de-escalate the situation rather than create drama in the house.
As of now, Mensan has not publicly responded to Ivatar’s claims. It remains to be seen whether the show’s producers will address the matter or release footage related to the incident, as has been done in past seasons when similar allegations arose.
This development adds another layer of drama to an already eventful season of Big Brother Naija, where interpersonal dynamics often fuel major storylines.
Fans will be watching closely to see if Mensan reacts to the accusations or if further discussions about consent in the house take place.
