Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, insisted he undergo a DNA test following a paternity claim involving a 12-year-old girl identified as Anu.
The singer disclosed in a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, where he stressed that the Adeleke family places strong importance on bloodline and heritage.
“You guys don’t know my father… he’s even the one that forced me to go… Adelekes, we don’t play about blood on this side,” Davido wrote.

The development follows public claims by Anu and her mother, Ayo Labinjoh, who alleged that the music star is the biological father of the child and called for a DNA test to establish her identity. The claims were earlier reported by The Nation.
Davido, however, has repeatedly denied the allegation, maintaining that he is not the girl’s father. According to the singer, multiple DNA tests have already been conducted to address the matter.
He stated that five separate DNA tests, carried out at reputable hospitals, all returned negative results, dismissing the paternity claim.
The issue has continued to generate widespread public attention and debate, with Davido insisting that the truth has already been established through medical evidence.
