Florentino Pérez has successfully retained his position as President of Real Madrid, securing a fresh mandate to lead the Spanish giants until 2030.
In a highly anticipated electoral process the first to be contested in two decades Pérez earned a decisive victory to maintain his influence over the club’s future.
According to the official results released by the club’s Electoral Board, Pérez garnered 21,741 votes, effectively capturing 65 percent of the total ballots cast. His opponent, challenger Enrique Riquelme, finished with 11,814 votes, representing 35 percent of the electorate.
Following the announcement, Pérez addressed the membership, pledging to continue his commitment to the club’s growth and ambition to secure further European success.
