Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has confirmed her membership of the Peoples Democratic Party by completing her registration through the party’s online platform.
She made this known on her verified social media pages, where she called on Nigerians, especially young people and party supporters, to also validate their membership.
The lawmaker described the PDP as the strongest opposition party in the country and stressed the need for members to take part actively in its activities.
She said, “The PDP e-registration platform is now secure. I have validated my membership. Others should do the same. The process is simple.”
Akpoti-Uduaghan urged citizens to use the digital system to formally join the party and contribute to national politics.
Her move aligns with the PDP’s plan to digitise its membership records and increase grassroots participation ahead of future political engagements.
She also restated her loyalty to the party, noting that active involvement by members is key to strengthening opposition and promoting accountability in government.
The PDP recently launched the electronic registration platform to make it easier for Nigerians, including those in the diaspora, to register and confirm their membership online.
