“This initiative is an urgent call to action for all stakeholders—our governors, ministers, local government chairmen, development partners, and the private sector,” Shettima stated.

“It is also a pledge to the Nigerian people that we will not stand by while our children suffer preventable consequences of malnutrition.”

He further assured that Nutrition 774 would provide every mother and child, regardless of location, with access to lifesaving nutrition interventions tailored to their needs.

Stressing the importance of collaboration, Shettima urged governors and other stakeholders to take ownership of the programme, stating that its success “rests on the collective investments we all make to sustain it.”
