Social media personality, Vincent Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has condemned the threats directed at human rights activist and lawyer, Femi Falana.
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Falana had, few days ago, revealed that some faceless persons threatened to set fire to his office and harm his daughter should he drag VDM to court over the controversies surrounding cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky’s jail saga.
The media influencer warned the persons behind the threats to stop, as he highlighted Falana’s long-standing commitment to fighting for the rights of ordinary people and the downtrodden.
Verydarkman dissociated himself from the threats and also offered to assist in identifying those behind the threats.
He commended the human rights lawyer for advocating for the people for many years, calling him a legend.
VDM regretted that he never intended for the situation with Bobrisky to escalate to this level, adding that unfortunately, it seems fate is against him. He said hopes the matter will be resolved fairly and without bias.
