Hollywood has officially unveiled the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards (Oscars), celebrating the most acclaimed films and performances of the past year, with one title rewriting the record books.
Leading the nominations is Sinners, which earned a historic 16 nods, the highest in Oscar history. The film surpasses the long-standing record jointly held by All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997), and La La Land (2016), each of which received 14 nominations.
