Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid has again sparked the light of the long-term rivalry between his fellow Afrobeat counterpart David Adeleke known as Davido dragging him on social media.
Just a few months after the clash between the two hip-hop stars clashed on X (Twitter) when Wizkid called out Davido and the Marvin record boss Don Jazzy, in May.
Wizkid addressed Don Jazzy “Influencer” and posted a video of Davido kneeling and begging for new music.
The scenario started after Davido gave a hint about his first single music in 2024, and Wizkid also intended to release his long-awaited album “Morayo” the Same day.
About this, Davido’s associate, Kayode Yajau, popularly known as Black Tycoone, called out Wizkid for the delay in his Album. He Tweeted “Tell your Daddy to drop an album already.”
The award-winning singer, replied by insulting Davido, posting on X, “P***y boys dropping mid again,” before adding, “Una don tire! Make una go rest small!”
A fan of Davido reacted to this by calling out Wizkid and saying that he is only looking for attention. “So if you no beef @davido, your song won’t sell?” he reacted.
Wizkid responded, “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!”
Wizkid continued by calling David’s entire career as “Trash”, and boasted about his own career achievements. “80 trash! We got 80 albums for any song y’all drop! P***y boys!” he reacted.
Despite the dragging, Davido has remained silent.
Research made us know that Wizkid’s reaction was due to Davido’s recent performance at the Tony Elumelu UBA anniversary in the United States. David entertained and landed on the internet with pictures businessmen and billionaires. Meanwhile, Wizkid was absent at the event.
Fans are anticipating a response from Davido, to see how he will react to the matter.
Davido’s fans reacted: @Rswagger “Just beg us to promote your songs… beefing with elemi9+ won’t help your dead career or better still… ask Tems for help again,” he reacted.
