Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally renowned construction company, Summa Group, for the development and construction of the much-anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport.
The governor announced this in a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday.
Sanwo-Olu described the MoU signing as a groundbreaking initiative and a crucial step in the state’s vision to enhance connectivity in Lagos, stimulate economic growth, and attract global investments.

He stated that the Lekki-Epe International Airport would facilitate travel and create new opportunities for businesses and residents across the state.
“We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally acclaimed construction company, Summa Group, to develop and construct the much-awaited Lekki-Epe International Airport.
“This groundbreaking initiative is an essential part of our vision to improve connectivity in Lagos, stimulate economic growth, and draw in global investments.
