The Tinubu–Ambo Support Group has called for calm among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, following a meeting with James Faleke ahead of the party’s governorship primaries.
The Director-General of the group, Seyi Bamgbade, made the appeal in a statement issued after what he described as a “fruitful” engagement with the lawmaker.
Bamgbade urged supporters to remain united and avoid attacks or harsh comments against party leaders, including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat.
He said the meeting with Faleke showed that key figures in the party remain committed to its growth and stability.

The statement read, “Our engagement with Hon. Faleke was productive and reassuring. It shows that we are one family under the APC.”
The group stressed the need for discipline as the party prepares for its primaries with a warning that internal conflict could weaken its chances.
Bamgbade also directed members to step up mobilisation across wards and local governments where he said grassroots support would be key to success.
He said, “This is the time to engage the people and strengthen our structure. Victory depends on unity and commitment.”
The group further restated its support for President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a leader whose policies continue to shape national development.
It added that members should trust the party leadership to manage the endorsement process and conduct a fair primary.
The statement concluded with a call for peace within the party, noting that unity remains the strongest tool for political success in Lagos.
