President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria and Africa for global economic relevance, asserting that the continent’s future is intertwined with transformative leadership.
He made this statement during a State Dinner organised in his honour by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais des Elysée in Paris on Thursday night.

He also praised Macron’s continued interest in the continent’s progress.
“It is a great honour for me to be here. Your warmth, commitment, and foresight in Africa are remarkable. Together, we must build a continent that resonates with its people, connecting them to a brighter future,” Tinubu remarked.

Highlighting Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms, Tinubu assured that the country is determined to break from past inefficiencies.
“We have embarked on strong reforms with no looking back. These changes are in the interest of not just Nigeria but the entire African continent. We must embrace the future with courage and optimism,” he said.
