In a significant development, Elon Musk, a prominent ally of United States President-elect Donald Trump, has expressed his support for Reform UK.

This comes after Musk met with Farage and Reform Party treasurer Nick Candy at Trump’s residence in Florida. Speculation is mounting that Musk could donate up to $100 million to support the party’s growth.

On Tuesday, Mr. Farage shared a photo on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), showing himself and Nick Candy alongside Elon Musk. The post was captioned: “Britain needs Reform.” Musk replied with a resounding: “Absolutely.”

This endorsement marks a significant boost for Reform UK, which has currently overtaken the Labour Party in the national polls for the first time. The party has seen a sharp rise in support since the general election, positioning itself as a growing alternative to the UK’s traditional political establishment.

In a joint statement, Farage and Candy said: “We had a productive meeting with Elon Musk that lasted an hour. We gained valuable insights into the Trump campaign’s strategies and will continue discussions in other areas. This is a crucial moment to save the West, and we believe we can achieve great things together.”

Elon Musk’s influence in politics has grown substantially. As the largest donor in the 2024 US election cycle, he reportedly contributed at least $277 million to the Republican Party. Following Trump’s victory, Musk is set to co-lead the newly established Department of Government Efficiency, aimed at streamlining state operations and reducing government size.

The potential financial backing from Musk has added further momentum to Reform UK. Earlier this month, Musk engaged with Farage on X, inquiring about the party’s next “electoral opportunity.” Farage responded with details of the upcoming local elections in May 2025.

With growing public interest and high-profile endorsements, the Reform Party’s influence appears to be on the rise, sparking discussions about its potential to reshape the UK’s political landscape.
