Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday celebration.
Aiyedatiwa’s birthday congratulatory message was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan on Thursday.
Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the monarch for being an inspiration to the youths and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Yorubaland.
He said: “On behalf of the people and government of Ondo State, I congratulate the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on his 50th birthday. Oba Ogunwusi remains a revered king in Yoruba land. His place in the history of the Yoruba race is distinct and enviable.
“His love for the youths is indescribable. This is evident in his drive to raise a self-reliant youthful population by navigating them through agribusiness, real estate and other profitable investments. I salute his courage to unify the Yoruba race while preserving our rich cultural heritage. It is my prayer that the king will live long on the sacred throne of his forebears.
