Activist VeryDarkMan, also known as Martins Otse, has disclosed his struggle with an eye condition caused by prolonged phone use and activism stress.

He attributed the ailment to prolonged phone usage, a side effect of his relentless commitment to social justice and advocacy.

In a candid Instagram post, the outspoken activist shared how the toll of fighting for others’ rights has impacted both his physical health and personal life.

Otse disclosed that his efforts to bring attention to societal issues have left him drained, robbed him of privacy, and earned him numerous adversaries.

Despite these challenges, he made it clear that stepping away from activism is not an option.

“Bro to bro, people’s problems wan kpai me on God,” he wrote in a mix of Pidgin English and English. “I don dey get eye problems from always being on the phone. I’m stressed. I legit don’t even have a private life anymore.”
