Sensational actress, Regina Daniels, has said her family members did not support her marriage to billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko, in the beginning.

They got married in 2019 and have two sons.

The actress disclosed that, contrary to widely held belief that her mother forced her into the union, she married her husband out of her own volition.

Speaking in a recent TikTok live session, Daniel said her family members, including her mother initially opposed the marriage though she didn’t disclose the reason.

She also surprisingly revealed that she had multiple suitors at the time, with over 20 boyfriends for different purposes.

She said, “I was so angry I had to go sightseeing with everyone but we got there and I met a cute man.

“Your boyfriend should not stop you from finding your husband. When I started with my husband, I forgot I was supposed to have a boyfriend.

“Then I had like 20 boyfriends, each for different purposes. So when people think I did not have a choice or think my mum forced me to marry my husband, I think they don’t know the truth. Not knowing that my mummy and my whole family were against the marriage.”

Daniels started acting at age seven, with her mother’s support, in the movie ‘Marriage of Sorrow’. She has been featured in several movies including ‘Plantain Girl’, ‘The Jericho’, and ‘Naked Sacrifice’. She has also received awards and accolades for her talent.
The husband, on the other hand, serves as the senator representing Delta North.
