…Tells Grammy to never invite or nominate him again
Legendary American rapper, songwriter, and record producer, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem (often stylized as EMINƎM), has berated the prestigious Grammy Awards, stressing that the award vote is not a real vote.
The 67th Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, January 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA, despite the recent wildfires that ravaged parts of the city.
However, reacting to the event in an interview making the rounds online, Eminem asserts that the prestigious award is not a professional one as they only give award to those who they want.
He further said that if he lost his Grammy Award to Kanye West, he will understand as the person has a huge following and by extension has a massive impact on music.
Eminem claimed that Grammy Awards organisers would nominate people like him among other prominent artistes mainly to sell their market and give the award to less prominent persons.
Expressing his anger, Eminem tells Grammy never to invite or nominate him again, noting that his answer will be a “No” in the next 100 million years.
He posted; “That vote is fake as fuck, that is not a real vote, they give it to who they want to give it to. If I lose to fucking Kanye or someone like that, I’m like okay. I respect that I know who that is, and Kanye has a huge following. He has made a massive impact on music, but don’t fucking get us all here to use as your selling point for your fucking show and stiff everybody every single fucking time.
”Don’t ever ask me to fucking come here again, please do not ask me. My answer is No, for 100 million years. Never again will I fucking go to the Grammy.”
