Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has criticised veteran singer 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) for rating Burna Boy ahead of him on the global stage.
New Daily Prime reports that 2Baba, during a recent interview with Seun Okinbaloye, shared his opinion on the popular “Big 3”, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, often regarded as Nigeria’s biggest global music exports.
When asked who ranks highest among the trio internationally, 2Baba named Burna Boy as the number one Nigerian artist on the global stage.

Reacting to the comment on Snapchat, Wizkid took a swipe at the veteran singer, referring to him as an “old man” and urging him to focus on making peace with his family instead of giving opinions about music.
“I’m never letting it slack in 2026,” Wizkid wrote.
“At least make peace with your family first before having opinions about music. Old man.”
New Daily Prime recalls that Wizkid had, a few months ago, declared himself Nigeria’s number one Afrobeats star.
