The achievement has positioned Behind The Scenes as the highest-grossing Nollywood release, pushing Akindele’s combined box office earnings in Nigeria and Ghana to over ₦2.2 billion.
Reacting to the feat in a statement shared on her Instagram page, Akindele expressed gratitude to fans across Canada, the United States, Nigeria, and Ghana, attributing her success to God’s grace and the unwavering support of her audience.

She also appreciated fans in the United States for their support, saying their embrace of the film deeply touched her, while acknowledging audiences in Nigeria and Ghana for consistently standing by her work.
