The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has revealed that he is actively learning the art of politics from President Bola Tinubu, whom he described as Nigeria’s finest politician.
Yilwatda made the remarks on yesterday in Plateau State shortly after he was honoured with the traditional title of “Kaeh-rit” – meaning “the good seed of Ampang East” by his community.
Speaking to journalists, the APC chairman expressed deep admiration for the President. “I’m learning from the best leader, Asiwaju Tinubu. Mr President is one of the best politicians you can learn from, and since adopting me as his son, I’ve learned so much from him,” he said.

He added: “He is teaching me, and so I’m learning. If you see me succeeding, it’s because I’m learning from the very best politician ever produced in Nigeria. So why not? I will work towards achieving what he has done also, being one of the best politicians in Nigeria.”
Yilwatda also expressed optimism about the recent defection of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang to the APC, stating that it would bring significant benefits to the state.
He emphasised the party’s commitment to inclusivity, noting that all members enjoy equal rights within the APC.
The conferment marks the second traditional title bestowed on Yilwatda in just two weeks.
Earlier, the Tiv Nation in Benue State honoured him in recognition of his humanitarian services.
