The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has called on Nigerians to move the nation forward by embracing the core values of love, light, and hope exemplified by Jesus Christ.
In a Christmas message delivered in Abuja, the anti-graft boss emphasised that the spiritual essence of the season is vital for Nigeria’s national rebirth.

He noted that the country requires the “refreshing hope” brought by Christ to navigate its current challenges.
Olukoyede urged citizens to view the fight against corruption as a collective spiritual and civic duty.
He stated that the “abundant life” promised by God for the nation can only manifest if Nigerians unite to fiercely confront financial crimes.
“Let’s join hands together to make our nation greater, stronger and richer. Corruption is a drawback. We should confront it more fiercely to allow the abundant life of God to manifest in our nation,” Olukoyede declared.
He further enjoined Nigerians to work collaboratively to restore the country’s respect and standing within the international community.
Olukoyede also tasked the populace to support the “Renewed Hope agenda” of President Bola Tinubu.
He expressed optimism that the administration’s policies, if embraced with faith, could ignite a national revival.

“Let the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President ignite fresh hopes of revival in us that Nigeria will rise again,” he added, urging Nigerians to allow the agenda to strengthen their belief in a more prosperous future.
