Actress Regina Daniels has responded strongly to comments made by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, who suggested she “needs help” amid her ongoing marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko.
New Daily Prime recalls that Rollas, in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, criticised Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, urging her to focus on her daughter’s wellbeing rather than pursuing the AGN presidency.
He also called out Nollywood veterans for keeping silent over the controversy surrounding Regina and her husband.

“Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair,” Rollas wrote, referring to the recent allegations of domestic violence circulating online.
Reacting to the statement, Regina Daniels took to her Facebook page to express shock and displeasure.
“Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?” she wrote.
The actress further accused the AGN president of misconduct, alleging that he enriches himself under the guise of supporting actors.
“I say you are a disgrace of a president who just visits one office to another, enriching his pocket under the guise of catering to the well-being of actors,” she alleged.
Regina also claimed Rollas had brought women to her family home “several times” for swimming lessons, despite her warnings, which she suggested was the reason behind his “bitterness” toward her.
Her response comes amid a messy public fallout with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In a viral online video earlier this week, Regina accused the senator of domestic violence. Nwoko, however, strongly denied the allegations, insisting that the actress is struggling with drug abuse, an accusation Regina has also rejected.
The escalating drama has sparked widespread reactions across the entertainment industry, with many calling for restraint and urging both parties to prioritise their safety and well-being.
