Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has declared that he is financially secure and would not go bankrupt even if he stopped making music today.
The ‘Who Is Your Guy’ hitmaker made the revelation during an interview on the Adesope Live Show, where he discussed his career, finances, and how he has built a unique market for himself in the industry.
Spyro explained that a significant portion of his income comes from corporate performances, not regular industry shows.

According to him, his clean and family-friendly music makes him a top choice for banks, multinational organisations, and elite clients who prioritise wholesome entertainment.
“If I stop making music today, I’m made. A lot of people don’t know that because I don’t brag,” he said.
The singer noted that many people underestimate his wealth due to his humility, but he continues to earn consistently from high-end bookings.
“I really don’t do industry shows. I do corporate shows. I have carved a niche for myself like that. I get booked by banks and elites like Tony Elumelu every end of the year,” he added.
Spyro emphasised that when corporate clients search for artistes whose music is “clean” enough for events attended by families and children, only a few names, including himself, Chike, and Johnny Drille, are usually considered.
Beyond music earnings, the singer revealed that he has made several strategic investments to secure his financial future.
Spyro’s comments have sparked reactions online, with many praising him for maintaining a clean musical image and building a brand that appeals to premium clients.
