Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was reportedly involved in a heated altercation at a hotel in Abuja over an alleged N200,000 dispute.
According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation began in the early hours of Tuesday inside Phyna’s hotel room before spilling into the lobby, drawing the attention of other guests and hotel staff.
Sources claimed that the disagreement stemmed from an unsettled financial issue involving ₦200,000, which quickly escalated into a shouting match between the reality TV star and another individual.

The situation reportedly worsened when neither party agreed to back down, leading to pushing and chaos within the hotel premises.
Hotel security personnel and police officers were eventually called to intervene. To control the situation, security operatives allegedly used teargas to disperse the growing crowd and restore calm.
The incident marks another controversy involving Phyna, who has often made headlines for her outspoken personality since winning Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up) in 2022.
It also comes just weeks after the reality star made a quiet return to public life following the tragic death of her sister, who reportedly lost her life in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
As of the time of this report, Phyna has not publicly commented on the incident, and details about the alleged N200,000 dispute remain unclear.
The hotel management and local authorities have yet to issue official statements regarding the altercation.
