Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Friday appointed a new management committee for the Ondo State Football Agency (OSFA) as part of efforts to revitalise the state’s football clubs.
Aiyedatiwa’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan disclosed this in a statement.
The five-member team, drawn from various fields in sports administration and marketing, will report directly to the governor’s office.
Members include Divine Ogbonnaya, who will serve as General Manager; Segun Joseph; Awosakin Iluyomade, representing the Football Association; Iyabo Ajanaku; and marketing consultant Dapo Ajibade.

The committee will oversee the operations of Sunshine Stars Football Club, Sunshine Queens Football Club, and Sunshine Stars Under-19.
Aiyedatiwa said the move aligned with his earlier pledge to restore Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens to the nation’s top-flight leagues.
The governor tasked the committee with conducting a thorough assessment of the clubs’ challenges and implementing measures to reverse their declining fortunes.
