Veteran Nigerian singer 2Baba has officially married Natasha Osawaru in a traditional wedding ceremony held in Abuja on July 25.
The event, which was private and intimate, was attended by close family members and friends.
Although the couple kept details of the ceremony under wraps, photos from the event have since surfaced online, offering fans a glimpse into the cultural celebration.
In the images, 2Baba is seen dressed in a short-sleeved white traditional shirt with detailed grey embroidery, paired with a matching white wrapper.
He completed the regal look with coral bead necklaces, bracelets, a beaded staff, sunglasses, and white shoes.
Natasha Osawaru looked radiant in a red off-shoulder gown, crowned with a coral bead okuku headpiece, a symbol of Edo royalty. She wore multiple layers of coral beads around her neck, shoulders, and wrists, proudly displaying her cultural heritage.
Fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s union and praising their traditional attire.
How 2Baba relationship with Natasha started
The relationship between 2Baba and Natasha first became public after the singer confirmed his separation from his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, in January. He proposed to Natasha in February, and by April, she had visited his mother, Rose Idibia. Although Rose was initially reluctant about the relationship, reports suggest she later gave her approval.
This traditional wedding marks a fresh chapter in 2Baba’s life, both personally and publicly. For many, it is also a reminder of the importance of tradition and family, even in the lives of celebrities. While the couple has yet to issue an official statement, the ceremony’s joyful images speak volumes about their love and shared commitment.
