Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has described the passing of renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, as a profound loss to the nation.
As reported by NewDailyPrime, Dantata, one of Nigeria’s most respected billionaires, died recently. The announcement was made public on Saturday morning by his Personal Private Secretary (PPS), Mustapha Abdullahi Junaid.
Reacting to the news in a heartfelt tribute posted on his official X handle, Senator Sani praised Dantata as a man of integrity, generosity, and enduring influence across generations.
“The news of the passing away of Alhaji Aminu Dantata is a great loss to the country. He was a man of upright values and boundless compassion who touched the lives of millions of people spanning generations,” Sani wrote.
He further described the late Dantata as a rare figure blessed with “purposeful longevity, generous spirit and wealth of honour,” adding that he was an accomplished individual who lived an exemplary life.
“May his soul rest in Aljanna Firdausi, Amin,” Sani concluded.
