Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Oniyinde Azeez, widely known by his stage name Zinoleesky, has opened up about how fatherhood has changed him.
The singer, who became a father for the first time in December 2023, said becoming a parent has made him more focused and disciplined.
In a recent interview on Adesope Live, Zinoleesky revealed that fatherhood has brought about a significant shift in his lifestyle and thinking. According to him, the arrival of his children helped him break away from certain negative habits and become a better person.
Welcoming Zendaya and Zafar
The father of two became a father in December 2023 when he welcomed his first child, a daughter named Zendaya. Just a few months later, in April 2024, he celebrated the birth of his second child, a son named Zafar.
The young singer, who has grown popular for his unique sound and hit songs, said that becoming a father to two children in such a short period has changed the way he sees life. He now carries a sense of responsibility that pushes him to do better, not just for himself, but for the future of his children.

“There are some things that I would have done before, or let’s say the way I do some things, I have reduced, just because of the boy,” he explained.

Zinoleesky stressed the importance of staying focused. He said he now understands the need to remain level-headed and intentional in his actions, especially because his children are watching and depending on him.
“I have to keep my head down, keep my head straight,” he said. “And it has been a blessing, too.”
The singer believes that this new stage of his life is not just about raising children but about growing into a more responsible man. He described fatherhood as a gift that has brought clarity, maturity, and blessings into his life.
