A Nigerian man has allegedly killed his wife by striking her on the head with a hammer, after accusing her of making video calls with other men in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The shocking incident came to light through a viral TikTok post on Wednesday, where the suspect, who has already been arrested, narrated his side of the story.
According to him, he had repeatedly warned his wife to stop communicating with other men but claimed she refused to listen.
He even reported the issue to her mother, but the situation persisted. The man also alleged that while he was hospitalized, he was informed that his wife often spent the night elsewhere, only returning home the next day.
The tragic event occurred just days after his release from the hospital. A heated argument erupted between the couple over her frequent video calls with other men, which led to the suspect attacking her with a hammer.
